YOUTH CLOSED CIRCUIT CHAINGANG Empty
PostSubject: Extra message from Tim Buckle and Nick Yarworth   YOUTH CLOSED CIRCUIT CHAINGANG EmptyWed 16 Jan - 8:25

Hi all, please see the note below from Tim re plan for tomorrow night, looking likely to be very icy.

Hello everyone

The weather looks like the circuit may well be icy tomorrow night.

We have a contingency! If you have advocated to riders to come down, please get them to come with rollers or turbo as there will be an indoor session if we cannot go out.

Riders will need:

• Turbo or roller
• 2x towels
• Drink

Thanks guys.

Tim.

PostSubject: YOUTH CLOSED CIRCUIT CHAINGANG   YOUTH CLOSED CIRCUIT CHAINGANG EmptyMon 14 Jan - 4:59

HI Youth riders we have had this in from British cycling which looks t be a good opertunity to get some good training in.
We have several riders who are capable of doing these sessions so see if you can get along there.
Please let me know if you intend to go along as they are on Wednesday nights.

Hi all,
happy new year, some of you will already know about this but please see the below e-mail from Tim Buckle regarding youth closed road chain gang which will start on 16th January at the Stourport circuit. I see this as the start of some quality sessions being held at the Stourport, these will basically be open to all regional youth riders with a small charge (£2), riders from the host club (Wyre Forest CRC) will not be charged for any of the sessions. This has all happened quite quickly but the idea is that we will start with the youth sessions then add sessions for other groups, women and seniors etc. Over the coming weeks the sessions will be run by Talent/Go-Ride coaches but any interested coaches would be welcome if they can come along.

Once we have established the next few weeks we will look to start the other groups but this will need support from the clubs, especially coaches. This is a great facility we need to take full advantage, for those that don’t know the circuit will be floodlit for next winter which will enable us to run a 12 month program, again provided we have the support.

Will be in touch regarding additional sessions once we have the details finalised, we are planning a one off women’s session at the end of Feb, details to follow once confirmed. (provisional date 23rd Feb)

Regards

Nick
