Stratford Cycle Challenge in aid of St Richard’s Hospice- 1-2 October 2011
More than just a ride - this is a 2-day, 110 mile cycle journey, starting in Stratford, London and finishing in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.
The challenge begins in Stratford, London home of the 2012 Olympic Velodrome. It will follow almost traffic-free paths to the edge of London followed by scenic countryside views and rolling farmland, covering approximately 50 miles before reaching the stop over hotel.
After breakfast on day two you’ll complete the final 60 mile journey to Stratford-upon-Avon cycling along winding country lanes and through picturesque villages and towns. You’ll be welcomed to the finishing tent where you’ll receive your well-deserved medal.
The route is designed to be suitable for novice riders, with some training, yet is challenging enough for seasoned cyclists.
The total number of riders will be limited to 90, so if you are interested please hurry!
Entry costs are £100 including coach travel from Stratford-Upon-Avon to London or £90 for the London start including Bed and Breakfast. There is a £35 single room supplement.
