Does anyone follow Pro-Cycling enough to take part in a Fantasy Cycling league ?

I've noticed the Road.cc website does a Free Fantasy Cycling competition which I've entered, but I could set up a RRPCC and Friends league if there is some interest.

Let me know if you are and I'll set it up and post the details here.

The first stage in the competition is stage 1 of the tour down under on the 22nd Jan

Hi,

I've created the 'RRPCC and Friends' league and its ID number is 76356.

Give your friends this ID to allow them to join your league. Any one can join (no approvals necessary)

go to http://fantasy.road.cc/ to register your team, and then select the 'Join a mini league' button

See you there

Russ

The Tour Down Under finished and the RRPCC top 3 were:

1 Russ Morey Pro Cycling
2 paul.s
3 AbleToWin? (amclinden)

The Tour of Qatar starts on Sunday 03 February 2013...Get your teams in before then.

If you haven't got a team in yet, don't worry, there is a league for each tour/race, not just an over all table, so you can still be competitive.

The more the merrier!

Cheers

Russ

I just thought I'd put up a few tips for making sure you get a score on each and every stage.

1) You must have 9 riders
If you have lass your team is not valid and wont score any points. You need to pick a new set of riders for each race - They get reset after each race. I don't think you need to replace riders who have withdrawn, but you may as well, they wont score any points watching from the sidelines.

2) Your team's value must not exceed 150 points
It can be less - and I'm not sure if it will allow you to pick more - but don't do it, your team will be invalid.

3) Your team can only have two riders from the same team.
This means that for the race in question, you can only have 2 riders with the same team code. Some riders ride for their other teams in other races (Zak Dempster rode for USA in the Tour down under, and Netapp-endura in the tour of Qatar)

A full set of instructions on how to play is here: http://fantasy.road.cc/howto

Good Luck

Thanks Russ. I've seen the error of my ways. A team that was far too expensive to run. Re-shuffled and i think its working again now.

cheers
