The following is lifted from the Beacon message board.

If anyone gets a sniff suggest you contact the police or Beacon.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Totally gutted - some worthless piece or pieces of scum have broken into my shed and taken -

Felt F5
Trek 1000
Track bike
Turbo trainer and dedicated bike + computer
Pair smelly cycling shoes
Couple of wheels
Saddle pack and tools

Discovered it an hour ago and feel sick. Was just going to the shed to prep my bike for a ride in the morning too. can't even prepare for majorca properly now. Utterly devastated.

Both my road bikes are on the large side (previously described to me as being like farm gates!). Felt F5 is full carbon, red and white with Shimano 105 throughout. White saddle is quite badly scuffed from my fall in Sept. Trek 1000 is black and silver with mudguards, dirty yellow handle bar tape and Mavic Aksium wheels.

Why they took my knackered old turbo, the very basic bike that was on it, or my old wheels I don't know. I just hope they get what's coming to them.
