Just had an email with main race the results.

The day started off with the U10's race with just Luke Richardson and Sulli Berry representing Redditch. There were 24 entires racing on a relatively easy flat, but narrow course. It was however great for spectators as it was all within easy view. Sulli started off badly with fall at the start whereas Luke started strongly in particular as he had not been on his bike since the solihull race. Both managed to weave their way through the less speedy riders and were soon near the front of the race. Sulli was knocked off his bike again and had to work hard to catch up. He worked hard to catch back up and wok his way up into 3rd place but the leaders just had to much of a time advantage for him to catch up. Luke Finished in 6th place a superb effort with no training whatsoever.

As far as I know we did not have any representation in the U12's race which was held on a much harder course local rider Ed Woodward won the day.

The main event consisted of the usual tricky woodland course testing all of the riders bike handling skills to the max. There were some sketchy moments as fast down hill sections finished in deep muddy bog holes throwing riders here and there. James Strain nearly having to hug the large tree to save his new bike. Terry Richardson battled a calf strain man flu (its much worse than you know ladies) and the conditions to finish 18th Vet (32nd in the race) James strain was 45th with John Potts a credible 49th piping Alex Potts who was 50th. Great effort guys well done all.
