Message from the Halesowen Organsiser John Crumpton
Just a few points to make for Sundays Halesowen cross at Baggeridge
1/ There is a carpark charge of £2.50 for all day parking and £1 for an hour, be warned that there is a carpark warden on duty on the weekends and having been up there recently he is there and he will ticket you if you are found not to be displaying a valid ticket, don't say I didn't tell you !!!!
2/ There must be no cleaning of bikes behind or near the toilets, this has been a request made clear by the park ranger, anyone found abusing the request will be asked to move on and it will be policed by halesowen marshalls
3/ Water can be used from the taps behind the toilets to refill barrells, etc and pressure washers can be used on site. There will be an area set aside for use of pressure washers by the pit area and anyone looking to minimise transport of equipment are advised to use the bottom carpark, all over flow carparks will be open
4/ Baggeridge does have a cafe where drinks and food can be purchased so please support it in any way possible please.
5/ The course does cross public footpaths, these will be marshalled as best as we can but I ask all people involved with the league that they be courteous to other park users
6/ There are no shower facilities available on site, SORRY FOLKS !!!
Look forward to seeing you all Sunday, John Crumpton
